Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 October 2026. This policy explains how Zuvio processes your personal data as a Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

  • Account data: mobile number or email, name, roles, and the one-time codes used to sign in.
  • Profile data: for creators — handle, bio, city and approximate location, languages, niches, rate card, portfolio and connected social account metrics; for businesses — organisation name, category, address, GSTIN and team members.
  • Collaboration data: campaigns, applications, messages, submitted content, live links, reviews and disputes.
  • Payment data: payment and payout records. Card, UPI and bank details are collected and processed by Razorpay; Zuvio stores only references and the last four digits of a bank account.
  • Usage data: device and log information needed to keep the service secure and working.

Why we use it

  • To create your account, sign you in and keep it secure.
  • To match creators and campaigns by niche, language and distance, and to show profiles to businesses.
  • To run deals: agreements, chat, content review, payments, payouts and dispute resolution.
  • To prevent fraud, fake engagement and duplicate accounts, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
  • To send service notifications. Marketing messages are sent only with your consent and you can opt out at any time.

Consent and legitimate uses

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you sign up, and for legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act such as performing the service you asked for and complying with law. You can withdraw consent at any time; this will not affect processing already carried out, but we may no longer be able to provide some features.

Who we share it with

Creators’ public profiles are visible to businesses on Zuvio. Within a deal, the business and creator see each other’s deal information and messages. We share data with processors that help us run Zuvio — including Razorpay for payments and payouts, cloud hosting and storage, SMS and email delivery — under contracts that require them to protect it. We do not sell personal data.

Location

We use your city and an approximate location to show nearby campaigns and creators. Businesses see distance, not your exact address.

Retention

We keep personal data while your account is active and for as long as needed for the purposes above. Payment, invoice and tax records are retained for the periods required by Indian law. When you delete your account we erase or anonymise the rest within 30 days, except where we must keep it for an open dispute or legal requirement.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can access a summary of your data, correct or update it, ask us to erase it, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance. You can export your data and delete your account from Settings in the app, or write to [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Zuvio is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process children’s data; if you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we will remove the account.

Security

Sessions use secure, httpOnly cookies, data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of a personal data breach as the law requires.

Contact and grievance officer
